This Buddhist land is known for being one of the friendliest countries in the world and with all of the beauty and peace encompassing it, it isn’t hard to see why locals are so blissfully content. Situated on the Southern slopes of the Eastern Himalayan peaks, serene Bhutan has a lot to offer to its limited guests: quaint and breathtaking villages sit high-above in the soaring mountains, surrounded by lavish nature. Totemic Buddhist relics are scattered among some of the most incredible ancient sites and monasteries in the world – like Taktshang Goemba. Many of those who visited Bhutan would swear it’s the ultimate soul-healing Asian destination.
