The Old Town of Tallinn is among the best medieval cities in Europe. But there's more to the capital city of Estonia as it combines a mix of both ancient and contemporary architecture: from the Toompea Hill and Alexander Nevsky Cathedral to Kumu's Museum and Rotermann Quarter. Discover it with Mikael in an amusing video.
I worked quite a lot on this video even though it isn't very long. I had a wonderful trip to Estonia and I learned a lot from film making and editing during my explorations. Can't wait for new adventures! I hope you enjoy this as much as I do.
It is said that Estonia is the last of the authentic European nations before Russia took over most of Eastern Europe. This fairytale-like country provides an incredible travelling experience for anyone wanting to experience the combined flavours of Russian, Slavic and Scandinavian cultures. Tallinn is the magnet the capital city with a UNESCO Old Town sitting along the scenic coastlines of the Finnish Gulf and the Baltic Sea – with its hundreds of islands and seaside resort towns. More inland lay still plenty of other things to discover in this yet off-the-beaten country, and among them are natural parks with extensive forests, rivers, lakes, a relaxed countryside, and the medieval university town of Tartu.
