72 Hours in Tokyo
a travel video by Daniel Kemeys
Tokyo is exactly how you would expect it to be, extremely busy but somehow, not claustrophobic. It's full of bright lights, temples, a lot of umbrellas... in our time spent there anyway. It's just full of charisma and personality, from its side alleyways filled with bustling people and delicious street food to traditional temples. There's no other place quite like it.
72 hours in this place was merely a preview, there is still so much to see. I cannot wait to go back and document the rest of Tokyo and the rest of Japan.
A big thank you to our friend, Nari Kakuwa. For showing us around this beautiful city.I hope you enjoy this film.

Tokyo in a Nutshell
Japan’s epicentre and one of the greatest cities in the world, Tokyo can be overwhelming, challenge one’s senses and unlock an entirely new world to foreigners. Often described as a “kick in the brain”, visiting Tokyo goes way beyond staring at the endless skyscrapers in Marunouchi, strolling through neon-lit streetscapes, discovering the hip district of Nakameguro, shopping in upscale Ginza, or getting a sense of the city’s true identity at Asakusa district. Tokyo is on a class of its own, a case in which the whole is so much greater than the sum of its parts.

Insights from Tokyo...
Tokyo would probably be the foreign city if I had to eat one city’s food for the rest of my life, every day. It would have to be Tokyo, and I think the majority of chefs you ask that question would answer the same way.
