Tokyo in a Nutshell
Japan’s epicentre and one of the greatest cities in the world, Tokyo can be overwhelming, challenge one’s senses and unlock an entirely new world to foreigners. Often described as a “kick in the brain”, visiting Tokyo goes way beyond staring at the endless skyscrapers in Marunouchi, strolling through neon-lit streetscapes, discovering the hip district of Nakameguro, shopping in upscale Ginza, or getting a sense of the city’s true identity at Asakusa district. Tokyo is on a class of its own, a case in which the whole is so much greater than the sum of its parts.

Insights from Tokyo...
Tokyo would probably be the foreign city if I had to eat one city’s food for the rest of my life, every day. It would have to be Tokyo, and I think the majority of chefs you ask that question would answer the same way.
Anthony Bourdain, American Chef
